OUR COMMITMENTS

Kaporal Jeans: Our CSR Commitments

Kaporal Jeans is actively committed to more responsible fashion, placing sustainability, environmental impact, and social commitments at the heart of its strategy. Through its Kaporal Impact program, the brand takes concrete action to reduce its footprint and build more conscious fashion.

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

The carbon footprint assessment is a key tool for measuring and reducing Kaporal's environmental impact. It helps identify the main sources of greenhouse gas emissions and implement concrete actions.

Our objective is clear: to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Preserving Biodiversity and Ecosystems

Since 2021, Kaporal has partnered with the Calanques National Park, affirming its attachment to the Marseille region and the protection of the Mediterranean.

This partnership notably aims to support the conservation of Posidonia seagrass beds, true lungs of the sea, while raising awareness among younger generations about environmental protection.

Reducing the Impact of Textile Production

Kaporal develops innovative solutions to limit resource consumption, especially water, in the manufacturing of its clothing.

The Kaporal Impact line offers products designed with processes that significantly reduce water usage. Some capsules even allow for 100% water savings during dyeing.

The brand also supports innovative projects such as the SEABLOCKS startup and participates in local environmental initiatives like "La Goutte Bleue," dedicated to collecting waste before it reaches the sea.

More Responsible Fashion in Everyday Life

Kaporal is committed to offering products with a lower environmental impact, whether through its collections of women's t-shirts, men's joggers, or its denim pieces.

The goal is to create sustainable fashion that is accessible and adapted to the rhythm of urban life.

Strong Social and Human Commitments

Kaporal also acts in favor of education, equal opportunities, and professional integration.

Since 2018, the brand has collaborated with integration workshops like 13 A'tipik to produce upcycled collections, promoting employment and reintegration.

Kaporal also supports the Fask Academy, the first textile production school in Marseille, to highlight fashion expertise.

With the Télémaque program, the brand supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in their academic journey, promoting equal opportunities.

Finally, in partnership with Les Apprentis d'Auteuil, Kaporal participates in training young people for retail jobs in fashion, in France and its territories.

A Committed Vision for the Future

Kaporal places social responsibility at the heart of its development with 5 key commitments:

  • Integrate CSR into all its strategic decisions
  • Offer products with low environmental impact
  • Guarantee a responsible supply chain
  • Build a company committed to its employees
  • Anchor itself sustainably in its territory

True to its mission — "Dressing the generations who want to change the world" — Kaporal Jeans continues to innovate for more sustainable, more humane, and more committed fashion.
